Karen Gloeggler is a dynamic and caring quilt instructor, and class participants can look forward to TEA – learning through Theory, Experience, and Activity.
She loves quilting and began quite an adventure when she searched for inspiration to design a quilt for her niece and accidentally discovered that Jane Austen made a quilt. What followed is an adventure that took her to Jane Austen’s House Museum in England to see the quilt in person. Karen wrote Jane Austen Quilts Inspired by Her Novels to allow other quilters to make their own Jane Austen-inspired quilt.
Karen loves sewing and has spent the last 20 years working in the garment industry as a Technical Designer. Karen finished her first quilt when her son was born, and hasn’t stopped quilting since.
Karen appeared on The Quilt Show with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims which aired in March 2014, and has an upcoming appearance on Quilting Arts TV.
